Hello Everyone!
I'm the proud new owner of a 7 week old Dutch Shepherd puppy. I've already found the forum quite helpful, though I'm hoping I'm not in over my head! I've only ever owned GS, and sadly, we lost our last dog in October. He was a gem, truly a beloved member of the family.
I was really excited when the chance to bring home a DS presented itself. Further, I was a little presumptuous -- perhaps almost arrogant -- in assuming it wouldn't be TOO different from our other experiences. He's rambunctious, ferocious, but incredibly smart. Cute, too!
I've joined to seek advice and share experiences, to learn and to make some friends along the way!
