Hi!
I am a new member of this forum hoping to get some insight on my dog and others like her. We got Tundra back in October when she was 8 weeks old as a present for my 9 year old's birthday. Her parents were on sight - and Dad looked like a typical German Shepherd. The mom, however, had some brindling in her coat. Tundra was part of a litter of 7. All of her brothers (no sisters) were sable and looked like a typical GSD. Tundra, however, was very different. We googled trying to determine how the girl puppy was so different. That was when we discovered Dutch Shepherds. It looks like a match to me! She is a GREAT dog.
Take a look and let me know what you think. Genetics can be so tricky!
