To Neuter or Not?

Post by GunnersMom2018 »

At the last vet check up. He asked me if I planned on having my 4 month old Gunner neutered. I hadn't really thought about it, what are the pro's/cons to having a male dutch shepherd neutered?

I have only had a few males, someone else may chime in that knows more, but there is something that can happen when you dont. Its not common I think. But A Belgian Shepherd I had was intact and at an older age, he started bleeding and needed to be fixed. I forgot what it was though. My mal was intact and was fine up until he passed at 16

I don’t buy in to having to have surgery to remove parts unless there is an unfixable or otherwise incurable problem.
