Crease across ears. Nervous parent
i have a awesome 7 month old KNPV named Bronx. I'm a first time Dutchie parent and am nervous about his ears. His ears have been standing for the most part since I got him. A little up down. They were up for about 3 weeks when he was 5 1/2-6 months. At 6 1/2 months both ears fell down. They are more or less standing now but he likes to hold his ears back and Inoticed he has a crease across both ears. Would this crease go away when his cartilage gets thicker? Should I tape his ears? I attached photos of him holding ear back and when it is standing.

- Tell us about yourself: My name is Karen and I have a dutch shepherd, Xander, born 6/14/13. He is my second dutch shepherd. My first was Rawly. Even though Xander is my second I still have a lot to learn. That is why I'm here, to learn, get advice, and meet people who love these guys as much as I do.

Re: Crease across ears. Nervous parent
Xanders ears didn't stand up and stay up until about 9 or 10 months. I was worried and tried taping but he was aggravated with it so I gave up. I attached a pic at about 5 to 6 months and a pic at around 8 months. His right ear had a similar fold. Now they are standing perfectly. His ears are very thick and he is also a pretty big dog which I feel like contributed to the delay. I wouldn't worry yet!!!

I read somewhere that through puppyhood they can return to flop but then head up for good as they age.
