Simple Question?

Post by centrop67 »

I happened to hear somewhere that "German Shepherd Dog" is the official breed name to distinguish between the human shepherds from Germany.

My question: Is it the same for the Dutch Shepherd Dog?

Asking for a friend

I should have known it would come down to etymology (the origin of words and the way in which their meanings have changed throughout history.).

I love the root of words and the true meanings. Plus, it always makes me feel smart that I know that info.
