In college, I worked as a Handler and Assistant Manager of a training and daycare facility for 3 years where I've handled many working dogs. Both my dogs are cool calm and collected. We exist in a fairly noisy environment daily.

Tell us about yourself: I recently adopted a rescue that we have been told is a shepherd of some sort. He has totally disrupted our lives and I am loving every minute of it!

This is Henry’s first 4th of July. I am super relieved that so far he just looks in the direction of the pop and tries to watch them. No freak outs which is a pleasant surprise considering how nervous he was about everything when I first adopted him. I think the daily thunderstorms helped desensitize him lol!

It all pays off, doesn't it? Even the daily noise.

That's pretty funny! Our two dogs are the same way, Duke doesn't seem to mind and our yorkie poor guy won't even pee outside

May the odds of noise be ever in Henry's favor lol. I think it's the biggest plus if they can go through noises daily

Oh I sure hope so or we may all be volunteering as tributes lol! He was very curious about them. When I took him for his pre-bedtime potty break he just wanted to watch and make sure they didn’t get pose any danger.
