June 2012 - Only in <insert place you live here>
The theme for June 2012 is a little different. Take a photo with a theme of "Only in Indiana" (for me) or "Only in Texas" (for Judith) or "Only in Friesland" (for Jan).
...
The usual rules:
1) please submit one photo
2) you must have rights to the photo that you submit
3) please put the dog's name in your post
4) contest will be open until the around the end of the month ... voting will begin sometime after that.
Going to stress rule #3!

Darn it, they put the signs up way too high in Germany to get both dog and sign in a pic...

- Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences. - Location: Victoria BC

So how about a hot air balloon ride to get the pic?

I was thinking of sticking a ball to the sign and have them jump...Sugars Mom wrote:So how about a hot air balloon ride to get the pic?

Doesn't have to be with a sign... The place I'm thinking about for this months photo is over a mile long and very distinctive to the city.

Re: June 2012 - Only in <insert place you live here>
ahhh, so it just has to be a very "typical" for the region kinda place... I could go and find a beergarten with bratwurst and go there with my dogs, they'll have a ball!!icvanstra wrote:Marjolein,Marjolein wrote:Darn it, they put the signs up way too high in Germany to get both dog and sign in a pic...

These pictures are incredible. I've got an idea....but I doubt the critters will allow it to happen!

- Tell us about yourself: Hi.....my name is Angela. I have 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter. All of my dogs (and cats) are rescues. I have a puppy that we just adopted that I think could be at least part Dutch Shepherd. We also have a 2 year old pug/min pin mix and an 11 year old border collie and possible lab mix.
Re: June 2012 - Only in <insert place you live here>
Well...my city is known for tornadoes. Definitely not doing that! I'll be thinking of something though! Everyplace that pops into my head doesn't allow dogs.
