Copying what our brethren on the other side of the pond do... It's time for our first photo contest.
Some ground rules:
- Reply to this message with one (just one) photo of a Dutch Shepherd embedded in the reply. Don't know how to show an image? look here: http://www.dutchshepherdforum.com/phpbb ... p?f=8&t=17
- The picture needs to be yours (if you want to put a digital copyright on it that is fine)
- End of the month we'll put a poll up and open up voting.
---------
The theme for this month's contest is: Anything Goes.

But Leih This is not for anything else than our own enjoyment.
The 'contest' is just a way to get all members to share pictures. You can submit ONE picture per theme. This month anything goes. (so it is not restricted to DS's either!)
At the end of the month, the members get to 'vote' for the picture they like best. And the prize is...absolutely nothing. Just the satisfaction of having a picture that was voted 'best'.
So here is my submission.
My antique DS Yaska van Neerland, cooling off by taking a detour through the pond after our walk.

- Tell us about yourself: I live in Metro-West Boston with my husband and our rescued Dutch Shepherd, Minnie. She loves anything involving activity. Our first rescued DS, Kaya, loved to tug. Our second rescued DS (who actually turned out to be a GSDx), Marley, loved to nap. I volunteer for the North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue and am a member of the NADSR BOD.

This one didn't even make "runner's up" at a GSD all-breed walk and photo contest (subject: Let sleeping dogs lie). You should have seen the photos that *did* make the cut. Sigh.
