I was thinking entry on the forum, and then posting the pictures on Facebook (Most likes wins). However, I am not sure I want the Facebook public choosing my content.

If I was entering the contests, I would probably vote for Radar every time. He is, after all, the most handsome 50% Dutch Shepherd in the world.

I was only joking about my vote..... how do you think Rogue got at least one vote. The girl was happy about that.
Actually my first time voting I didn’t know I could vote or should vote for my pup. Rogue didn’t even get one vote. I never told her. She’ll never know. 🙀😇😅

Based on this and an email I received this morning, it looks like I need to create a couple of FAQs.

Well for me, it was more of a moral thing. I asked myself if it was the better thing to do by voting for the cutest picture vs voting for my girl because I love her. I voted for the cutest picture. It just seemed like the right thing to do. 😇.
.... however I’m now more like this: 🤪 because of this: :DScool: and now this.... :pint:

2 votes sound good but I can't see it working all the time because the same issue of who wants to see somebody else ahead?

Say your vote evens the count, you're not going to use your second vote to get your next favorite ahead or equal to you, there's too many biases with it.

Lastly..... facebook page? What's the group name

centrop67 wrote: Mon Feb 26, 2018 2:12 pm Enforcement wouldn't be an issue. Everyone would get up to two votes, and the system doesn't allow for voting for the same pic twice.

You could...
* Vote for your pic and one other
* Vote for your pic only
* Vote for two other pics
* Vote for one other pic

Don't tell Lisa, because she'll likely have a conniption, but I am contemplating moving the Photo Contest voting to the Facebook page.

We can’t see how many votes each picture has until we vote so I don’t think evening the count will be an issue as long as everyone has to submit two votes.

As an admin I actually get a "View Results" link that I can go to before I vote.

I plan on trying this two-vote thing in this month's contest (trial).

If anything, I might get twice the vote count.

Yes, I maintain a Facebook page as a portal to this site. There's a link above, but you can go here. You can also search for "Dutch Shepherd Forum" on Facebook.

I routinely change up profile and cover photos on the Facebook page from contest photos, and Duke is the profile photo right now. :wtg:
