Cooked meals

Post by Olie »

Here`s what i just cooked:

cca 5 kg minced chicken
0,5kg rice
0,25 kg integral pasta
1kg carrots
0,5kg brocoli
half big celery root
cca 1,5 dcl olive oil
hanfull of garlic

part of brocoli and carrots were cooked with meat and the rest was chopped (carrots blended) and added raw when rest was finished cooking. garlic and olive oil also raw

I packed it in plastic bags, and it turned out 21 bag. im counting 1 bag per meal, 2 meals a day.

is that enough garlic and olive oil for that amount of food?
will those meals be appropriate size?

Looks yummy! :wtg:

Are you adding some vitamin/mineral supplements when you feed it? We used from Solid Gold 'Seameal', right now we are using Udo's Choice Pet Essientials. There are many more,i.e Missing Link, etc.

Tell us about yourself: I have experience with large breed working dogs. Currently I'm seeking a hiking and jogging companion, hopefully 1-3 years of age and female. I'm hoping to find a Dutch Shepherd that needs rehoming.

I save eggshells and grind them into a powder to use as a calcium supplement. There's a K9 nutrition list I subscribe to that is helpful.
