Feeding Raw

Post by Owned-By-Hendrix »

I've been doing some research on feeding raw. I feed my guy Orijen right now and where we buy told us Orijen may be doing a price increase in Febuary. While I don't mind the price point too much, it did make me wonder what the price difference is of feeding raw versus kibble. I know it varies depending on sales, but to those who feed raw what's an average ballpark cost per month for you?

I never tracked it. I fed raw for a while, but for me, time was the biggest factor and being able to get large chunks of meat, cutting it up and saving it. I still do raw when I can and buy on sale. I have fed Honest Kitchen and liked that one too, that was pricey, then I did a mix of HK and kibble. I do Orajen now, but I did do a Merrick for a while and saw a weight decrease.
