Here's a dumb question: Do Dutch Shepherds only shed seasonally? I've had my dog for nearly a week and he has only lost a few squiggly undercoat hairs. The last dog I dealt with was a minature doberman and he was always shedding. I also read that German Shepherds are one of the worst shedding breeds.

Do your dogs shed all the time, or only when getting a new coat?

Thalie is 16 and she falls apart all year long, but Sadie who is 8 only sheds in the spring and fall

En blows coat twice a year. She sheds very little other than that.

I cant wait for summer then!!!!!!

Radar is a constant shedder. There's a couple times a year where it's really bad though.
