- Tell us about yourself: Hello I am from TN. I have a Male Dutch that I just love so much!
When does Cartilage start forming?!?
My 7 month old dutch still has very floppy ears. They only come up when he wants them too. The cartilage in them has not formed yet. Very floppy. Is this normal? His ears are very long, and he is a very big boy. He comes from a great working line over seas. What should I do to help them along?

Re: When does Cartilage start forming?!?
This question is asked a couple times a year on here. I welcome you to search the posts for ears,
However, in the meantime, most of the time it's only a matter of time. Most of the attempts to help it along don't work. Eventually, the ears will go up, and I don't think there's a real set amount of time.
