CanAm 2011 (October 2010)

Post by icvanstra »

The new 2011 season for flyball has started and the 2011 CanAm Nationals (technically wouldn't that be "internationals"?? :stickman: ) are in Indianapolis this weekend.

If anyone on the forum is in town for the tournament please let me know. I live just north of the venue.

---

Went to a friends tonight and couldn't find a parking spot at his place (he lives above his business) because the parking lot was full ... and not any of his customers or friends vehicles. Most of the cars had flyball related bumper/window stickers. Thankfully didn't see any with Dutch Shepherd stickers on them!!! :ds: Anyway, he was getting ready to start towing vehicles out of his parking lot and I convinced him that they were dog people. Many of the vehicles had their dogs in them. Unfortunately I saw too many with the windows closed up tight!!

Are you going to go watch? There are a few DS that play flyball that will probably be there.

Maybe today, depends on how much work the contractors get done on my house so I don't have to watch them...long story...they love standing around and debating about nothing instead of working ;)

If not then I might go sunday.

If you can time it, you can get there for the final racing on Sunday where it'll be the top teams against each other. We watched it online last year. It was fun. It was fun to see people that we know running too. But any time you go should be fun. I think they have a few rings setup so it's alot of racing going on. Probably very noisy too. :)

I get mad when I'm SLOWLY driving through construction zones and the workers that I'm driving by are just sitting around chatting or reading magazines. Are you contractors union? LOL
