Flyball practice this past weekend was set-up with both lanes and the timing lights in place. Was very excited to see Luna post a newest fastest time of 4.0 for herself. (Her previous best was 4.1) She managed to back it up too with 8 of ten runs being 4.0's despite some very mediocre handling on my part (I tripped and fell completely headlong on her first 4.0 run actually).
Very excited to see if she can remain this consistent in the May tournaments!

Not much chance to take them while running her. (I'm imagining trying to juggle the camera on top of everything as she drags me to the lanes.) I'll see what I do to get some snagged at the tournaments later this month though.vneerland wrote:but where are the pictures?

- Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.
Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!
I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences. - Location: Victoria BC

- Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year! - Location: Corinth, New York

Nice times!
It seems like it's easier to get video of flyball than pics.

We're in Phoenix and compete with "Heatwave Flyball". A really great group of dog people that deserve any of the real training credit for getting Luna where she is at in flyball. Awesome club of friendly, helpful people since day 1 when I asked to observe a practice session back in September.Christie M wrote: Where are you located again? I would love to come take some photos!
I should have a pic or two from this weekend's demo that I'll try to upload this week.
