Tell us about yourself: I live in Metro-West Boston with my husband and our rescued Dutch Shepherd, Minnie. She loves anything involving activity. Our first rescued DS, Kaya, loved to tug. Our second rescued DS (who actually turned out to be a GSDx), Marley, loved to nap. I volunteer for the North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue and am a member of the NADSR BOD.

This girl is still looking for her forever home...

Minnie is a 6yo female (spayed, 45-50 lbs) in Florida and has been waiting for her new people since mid-September. She is currently in a North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue foster home.

Minnie was scheduled to be put down as a pup at MDAS when rescued. She has been in her current home since. Unfortunately, she needs to find a new forever home, at no fault of her own. Minnie is a very sweet, loving girl who is house broken and crate trained. NO CATS. She appears to be okay with dogs. She has good food drive and will work for treats, but she also loves toys and balls.
Minnie is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, free of internal and external parasites, and micro-chipped. She is located in Hialeah, Florida.

If you're interested in Minnie, please fill out the NADSR on-line adoption application and let them know you'd like to bring this sweet girl home! NADSR does allow adoptions to homes out of state from the dog's current location.

I've been trying to convince my wife that a third dog is a good idea, but she continues to say no.

It's unfortunate, because it looks like Minnie would make a great fit and she's right here in my back yard.

Tell us about yourself: Rescued a dumped DS puppy from the freeway and found his littermate in a nearby shelter two weeks later.
