Rosie
We brought Rosie home from the pound 9/5/15. Of all the breeds we've seen, nothing even comes close to the resemblance she bears to a Dutch Shepherd.

Re: Rosie
From the few pics I click through she looks fairly pure! I'm seeing a tad bit of bully in her but that can easily be the angles. How much does she weigh?
And thank you for rescuing!

Re: Rosie
Yeah, the first vet we took her to said she saw a bit of pit bull but I really don't see it in the jaw. But this is a pic where I can potentially see that.
She is 56 pounds, she was 51 when we took her home but she was just a bit underweight. She has two white socks in the back and a white tuft on her chest, but other than that her brindling is very consistent with other Dutchies I've seen. Her age is estimated at 15 months but of course we're not sure.

- Tell us about yourself: Over the past 25 years I shared my life with a Rott, two Akitas, and a Shepherd/Husky mix. I now have my first Dutch Shepherd. Lexi was born in early September 2014. She is great in so many different ways but I could use advice from some been there done that DS owners.
Re: Rosie
I love her white toes. The breeder I bought Lexi from had dutchi with white on the chest too.

- Tell us about yourself: I love Shepherds- German, Dutch and Belgian. I recently lost my 16.5 y/o GSD mix and was hoping to find a GSD or DS mix. I totally lucked out in finding Grendel, a DS/GSD mix at 9.5 weeks old. She was filthy and flea-ridden, but still the cutest, craziest thing ever. She's going to live up to her name! First dog I've had that I've actually seen the parents and definitely know what she is!
Re: Rosie
Well I'm no expert, that's for sure. But I am pretty sure the DS standard doesn't include a t-shirt!
What a luck out!
