I rescued my little girl Holly in July 2016. She is 2 years old. She was labeled a "German Shepherd mix" however I see more characteristics of a Dutch Shepherd than a German Shepherd. She is not big but she has long legs, is very slim like a Greyhound, and weighs 45 pounds. For those reasons we believe she could be mixed with a Whippett.
Holly is a very fast runner and likes to pick everything up and carry it around. I want to hear your opinions! What do ya'll think?

- Tell us about yourself: Retired K9 handler of a DS worked in Connecticut USA in a urban city
One of the few DS ever successfully worked in Connecticut police K9 history thus far.
Oldest DS worked in Ct. (14). Old man still hits like a bull (he's retired now)
Raised and trained by myself and my breeder to CPWDA certification standards.
Currently own 3 DS. Nice to know all of you!
Re: Do I have a Dutch Shepherd mix??
Perhaps Pitt and Dutch mix? A Pitt like head, jaw. Pitts are mixed with Malinois and DS lines now and then to invigorate stale lines or infuse certain traits. Not a bad thing at all . Yours is beautiful. Good luck

- Tell us about yourself: I'm Keith, 28 years old born and raised outside Chicago. I adopted Duke, the Dutch Shepherd from a Chicago foster based rescue. Duke had an unfortunate first 2 months of his upbringing but he's been a prince around here ever since.
Healthy, happy, energetic, and super social.

Pit mix, my opinion.
