Tell us about yourself: Lifelong animal person- I professionally trained horses before my children were born. New to DS's, but not new to high drive working dogs. :) Currently have a 1 1/2 yr old DS, Koenig, and a 2 yr old English Pointer Sara. They are both rescues. Oh yes, I work at a multi species non-profit animal rescue, on Bainbridge Island, WA

Want to know anything else, just ask!

I am currently in Washington DC Asheley. :( But normally, I am 'only' 7 hours driving from Hutto (triple crown)
Good luck with the championships. Are the competing DS's from Mexico or the US? I hope you get to take/post pictures.

2 are from the NE (Kelterhof stock) and 1 is from Mexico - I think it is a different dog than just won the Mexcian Ring 3 Championship, but darn if I can't find the Mexican French Ring website now!

Sniper AND Titan? I didn't think Christine was going. Father and son would make for an interesting trial!

Yes - that's the same Rage. Brian pulled him out of the Championships. Incidently, he has now sold Rage to Christine so hopefully she will be competing with him a bunch this year.

Are you originally from the Chicago area? I lived in MI for most of my life and just relocated down to TN.

Where did you get your Dutchies from? Are they out of the von Kelterhoff stock?

You dork. LOL. I had no idea! I couldn't for the life of me figure out "Speedos in Camo." Welcome to the forum!!! I'm glad my baby girl is doing well!!!

For everyone else - Lisa adopted a rescue DS puppy from me that I got from a partial litter turn in here in TN. She loves, Loves, LOVES her striped beasts!!!

I just re-read this. I meant to type "Brian pulled him out FOR the Championships." Not pulled him out FROM it. Duh.

LOL. She is doing excellent, her and Thalie just love each other! It was actually my old vet who called them Speedo in Camo, He didnt work with DS's much and said, "she looks like she is built for speed and the colors are like camo"

So Christine has Rage, cool! I hope they do well together!

As I am trying to catch up, I noticed somthing here - I really think Christie and Lisa are referring to different Dutch Shepherds, both called "Rage" and both owned by first name "Brian" - what are the chances!?? Rage v Kelterhoff with Brian Sturtecky, and Raging Bella with Brian Branon (sp?). Since Lisa wrote Brian B. and also said "she" at one point I realized the confusion...
