Obedience training a young adult
From what i am gathering with what all i have read from various posts is this dog is very easily trainable as a pup. I haven't started yet but plan on the obedience training. However my Gypsy is no longer a pup (I don't think) and am wondering how perceptive a young adult DS takes to training. Are they hard headed and difficult or just as eager to please as puppies? TIA for any info and/or advice.

Very trainable, but also hard-headed.
For a breed like this, you will want early (and probably often) assistance with a trainer that has experience with protection dogs. It's real easy to make a mistake that will become difficult to fix later.

She seems to be content and all but i don't want to make some huge mistake with her either. She doesn't even know sit!!!! But an all around good and i would say calm dog but shes coming out of her shell and seems to have more get up and go every day. Haha. So I'm thinking the real Gypsy is not what we first thought.
