Hi all! My name is Ryan and we live in Central CT. I am a proud friend to Xander and Nala. Xander is a 21 month old Male and Nala is a 5 months old female. I like my dogs a little crazy! We train just as hard a we play. I joined the forum some time ago, but mostly browsed though various topics. I decided to begin posting with hopes of trying to figure out what is going on with my guy, Xander. I won't post those questions here, but thought I should introduce us before searching for the appropriate place to do that.

- Tell us about yourself: I love Shepherds- German, Dutch and Belgian. I recently lost my 16.5 y/o GSD mix and was hoping to find a GSD or DS mix. I totally lucked out in finding Grendel, a DS/GSD mix at 9.5 weeks old. She was filthy and flea-ridden, but still the cutest, craziest thing ever. She's going to live up to her name! First dog I've had that I've actually seen the parents and definitely know what she is!

Re: New Members
Muscle atrophy running from mid spine through his hips. Something doesn’t feel right about the diagnosis. We’ve been going to a chiropractor and rehab facility for close to two months. Can anyone tell me where to post more specific details?

LOL I must be hardheaded and stubborn.
I guess before and after results with dogs tend to show the effort put into them. - Location: California, USA

Good lookin dogs for sure.
Does he do the rope pull? We've had muscle stiffness and favor from spine being a little out. Thumb and finger massages up and down the spine along with the rope seemed to solve it.
It'll be difficult for him to accept at first if its sore because they don't want you to mess with it.
I used to have the same problem from not doing anything. Muscles cinch up a poof there goes a disc pinch.
As with anything, moderation and common sense rules. Don't push it. Try again later if in protest. If it's working they learn it's a good thing but takes a few days.
