Hello,
I’ve been researching what our possible new dog is...
She showed up about 3 weeks ago, could not find the owner and are going through adoption. She gets nurtured and rest of her shots next week.
Hopefully I an attach some pictures, she is really sweet, energetic, seams very smart and sees everything, birds, bugs squirrels etc.
Also, how do they doo with cats, We have 2, she has chased them a few times. Now they are in hiding. But getting better.
She gets along good with our other dog.
Thanks, for any help,
Bruce

I'm going to guess not a DS. Maybe like Bramble a pit-Auatralian Cattle dog mix?

Oh, she is a cutie alright, and she doesn't have to be DS to be perfect. And really she looks more like Bramble than say Rogue or En or Henry.
But the dark saddle and a bit of the face shape. You could always do a DNA test.
What is her personality like?

Thanks for looking and the reply.
Her personality is Very alert, little bit shy, more around men. She was a stray so don't know the history.
She like kids a lot, she is very friendly, has a lot of energy.
Does the Crazy puppy runs, bouncing off the sofa. people etc.
Plays well with the other dog, all the time.
We really don't care about what she is, mostly just curious, and would like to know more of her traits behaviors etc.
I would also say very smart, learning quickly.
She is still adjusting to our cats... Also notice squirrel birds etc....
What do you mean looks more like a bramble or rogue?
She does kind of have the marking of a mountain cur, but the wrong ears.
Sorry about the rambling answer..
We may do a DNA test just for fun, once adopting is complete, should be next week.

Bramble is my dog. Rogue is another dog on the site with lots of great photos. I think if you search Rogue a bunch of photos will come up.

Re: Hello from N.C., possible Dutch Shepard adoption
Welcome to the forum. Thank you for rescuing.
When I see a skinny tail, large white patch on the chest, and a light and striped face, it usually turns out to be not a Dutch Shepherd.
You have a really cool looking dog, and it sounds like she has a really cool personality.
If you really want to find out if there's any Dutch Shepherd, a DNA breed test from Embark or Wisdom are your best bets.

Thanks for all the responses.
Lots of nice looking, happy dogs on this site
She just got spayed this week, so should be able to adopt her soon.
Now just trying to keep her a little calm, isn't working too well.
So she is feeling much better.
