- Tell us about yourself: Hi. My name is Lou and I live in Georgia in the USA. We have a rescue that was dubbed "mix breed." If she is mix, I feel she is predominately Dutch Shepherd. She is about 3 years old and previously spent a good deal of time in a crate.

Hi. My name is Lou (short for LouElla). We have a DS, I think, that was a rescue. She is about 3 years old. Her name is Savage, but she really isn't. I would like to find out if members of this forum think she is DS or at least a DS mix. Thank you in advance for your input.

Savage is gorgeous, but I don't see very much to indicate Dutch Shepherd.
I see some traits of the long-haired variety, but I think it would be extremely rare to find one mixed with other breeds as they are quite rare themselves.

Thanks for your input. I was thinking DS mixed with German Shepherd.
