So I'm curious. Is anyone following the CDC guidance to socially distance from their pet?
When I'm walking them I try and keep a distance when we're passing people. But there are a couple people I see regularly that still let their dogs get up close to mine. Most people keep an appropriate distance though.
As far as just at home, well I tell my daughter not to let Idna lick her face, but she still does it. I try to keep everything as clean as possible also.

Thankfully we have a ton of firewood and I can order beer delivered to the house with the groceries. So I keep myself entertained while also trying to catch up on projects. I also just take the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood whenever I can to get out of the house. There is a large state forest about twenty minutes away, it's technically closed but they don't have any gates up- so I started taking the dogs there while going for hikes.

You can't isolate someone in your home. Maybe if you had a separate living space. Just be smart.

We decided to get out of the heat yesterday. Two hours north and a big drop in temperature, low 70s F/20s C up there, perfect. Beautiful up there, big trees. The dogs loved it. Would go more often if my back didn't suck. It's a lot of driving, but worth it.

It's a large sectional couch so we get to sit on the other side.
