RIP little Asia.

Post by Mark77 »

Very sad. I lost my dog Asia yesterday to cancer. She was just over ten years old. I've owned a lot of dogs but Asia was probably the closest dog to me. She was more personable and had a higher emotional intelligence than any dog I've ever known. She was always by my side and a beautiful perfect little dog in every way.

I found a video of Asia from when she was young. This is the breeder and original owner before we got her. She lived a great life, went everywhere with me, very well behaved and she made friends with all kinds of people- very social. I am grateful for the life she shared with us.

Asia at ten months old.

Tell us about yourself: Accidentally adopting a Dutch Shepherd when I had no idea about the breed led me to research and act on all of his needs. This site was a key component to making things right for Radar, so when the original owner was calling it quits, I stepped in to keep the site running.

She died of cancer which in itself was awful given her sweet disposition and happy little personality. So while I miss her, I saw her suffer and it brought me peace to let her go. A dog's life is short, they live life to the fullest and perhaps that's what their greatest gift is, to teach us how we should be.
