My Dutchie is 14 weeks. I think he is coming along well. My question is water related. My Leo discovered the water hose. He loves to attack the stream of water and this is pretty cute....I am thinking ahead to when he needs to have a bath/shower and how this could be a problem. Today I put peanut butter on the shower wall and let the shower run. That went well. He did have moments that he wanted to attack the water stream. Here is my thought ...he gets lots of fun and pleasure out of "attacking" the water from the hose and I am ok with this But I don't want to encourage a behavior I will have to later correct.

thoughts?

First of all, frequent baths are not necessary for this breed unless of course they are rolling around in the mud and stuff like that.

One option is to use pitchers of water instead of a shower/hose.

I believe he'll learn the differences in the two situations. He might need to be taught to leave it at first, but then he'll know.
