Recently we were charged by a Great Pyrenees. I had a taser with me and grabbed it quick. I never had to use it, but the dog was highly reactive to the cracking noise it makes when you press the button and turned in its tracks. My dogs must be used to it, but I have now "tested" other dogs reaction to the static noise and all of the dogs have bailed. I kinda liked the knowledge I got from that, and now it goes with me everywhere.
