Grumbling when I read the above post. Yup. That's how it so often goes. Ignorance is bliss. And there are a LOT of blissfull owners of brindle, pointy eared dogs out there. Some meant well. Others have just been taken, some are actually pretty happy with what they got and may even breed their wonderful brindles some time in the near future. To make more people around them happy too. :eek:

Tell us about yourself: Rescued our first DS male on Dec 27, 2011. Approx 4 yrs. Rescued from NADSR. His name is Odin. Adopted a 2nd DS from NADSR June 27, 2012. Kai - 6 months.

that's where my boy Odin came from - GA. I believe he was one of the two that were from the same shelter. He was still intact when they picked him up in Sept, so who knows, perhaps a stud dog? He was obviously handled alot, because he is a sweetheart and knows what to do when told. It makes me very sad that these beautiful striped beasts and others are tossed out like garbage. BUT, we are very HAPPY to be able to have him in our lives!!! He loves to give kisses too :dsrazz:
