So, what are your plans and goals for your little man, down the line? (Might as well talk about them as you're waiting...)

Is the litter already bred? Confirmed? When is it due?

The litter was actually born last week! I have been keeping an eye on it for a while now though.

Mr Stripey butt is going to be my "all around" activity buddy. I got "assimilated" into one of our local Schutzhund clubs this last week, ( I have been visiting and observing their training sessions for the last couple months) so we are going to try that out, but I also really want to do obedience/agility and try out dock diving. All of these are things that Saga really doesn't enjoy. She has her obedience down pat and can do all the routines, but she really doesn't enjoy it and the noise and bustle of crowds and trial environments really doesn't suit her. She was a pound puppy rescue that I got when she was 9 months old and her lack of socialization prior to me bringing her home really handicaps her. Heck for the first couple months, you couldn't even reach for her without her hitting the floor and trembling. She has come a LONG way, but part of doing right by your dog is allowing them to do what they are suited to and she is suited to being an awesome pet dog. She doesn't even like to go on walks unless it is precisely 75 degrees and sunny.

OK, now I remember you...Saga is your Dobe, right?

So, are you close enough to take any pictures of the little darling? If not, you can share any your breeder sends to you while you're waiting...

This is such an exciting time...they're on the ground, it's only gonna be about 7 weeks now, seems like an eternity, but actually ends up zipping right on by and before you know it, you've got a little bundle of Id with very sharp teeth

Yep, Saga is my Doberman. Prissy little darling.

Unfortunately, I am not close enough to go visit. I will definitely share baby pics though.

I have a couple names on the possible list, but I am sure I will change my mind about 15 times before he comes home. I am totally up for suggestions!
