Facebook page.It turned out to be a win-win for the GSD rescues. I was pulling dogs that were not pet quality and ended up in the shelters because all they really needed was a challenge - a job. Literally, they were 'stacking up' and I was desparate to find a source and luck would have it along with divine intervention that I found this group. During my rescue days, I sent up dozens of rescues to them over 7-8 yrs, after the dogs had a clean bill of health, basic ob and house manners. I'd probably still be doing it but my kids' college tuitions became priority, of course.
During those rescue days is how I came across my first DS (in NewOrleans), and I became smitten with the breed.

- Tell us about yourself: Dogs are my life, what can I say. GSDs primarily for nearly 50 years til bringing in my first DutchShep about 4 years ago. GSD rescue for 9 yrs, nearly 200 thru my home, rehabbed, adopted out. Been involved in AKC ob, herding, tracking, agility; Schutzhund-DVG; scent detection (HR-water)&narcotics, some patrol work. Mostly herding training at present on my little farm.
