I was wrong about her age. she is 2.5 years old. I told her owner that I did not think that she would be a good match for us.
My first girl was a Robbie granddaughter, house dog and much loved. I could see her as having been a service dog.Schlussdibusti wrote:A Van Leeuwen as service dog?Selena wrote:One of our girls is moving to a household next month, she will be a pet, ppd and will be trained to be "hulphond" ( helping her new, physically challenged , owner to pick up stuff, turn light switches etc.).
It was so cool to see her with the woman walking, very gently, no pulling, looking at the steps of the physically challenged woman and walking with her parents, pulling around (didnt get a volgen command) like she normally would.Did the lady see the Wibo videos on youtube?

She there about 4 wks now, and doing great! Without official training she picks up dropped pants, get her up from the couch etc. We were convinced shewill do the job, and that expectation is showing.Schlussdibusti wrote:A Van Leeuwen as service dog?Selena wrote:One of our girls is moving to a household next month, she will be a pet, ppd and will be trained to be "hulphond" ( helping her new, physically challenged , owner to pick up stuff, turn light switches etc.).
