- Tell us about yourself: Was member on DS list several years ago. Have had DS over 18 yrs. Retired K-9 officer. Still have 2 DS, one son of last work dog (Kimba) and one rescue from a police program. Also a Greyhd/pitt mix. Considering future home for a female rescue DS--waiting due to health issues. Have friend fostering rescued DS from HS here--no prospects--problem dog. Nothing like a Dutch. Sharon
Happy Stray Outcome
Hi All: Was perusing a GSD rescue site in Indianapolis and a member posted they had pulled a purebred DS from the pound (hi kill) there. I immediately tried contacting any/everyone to get in touch with the guy. My computer skills are poor. Found out by the next day he was KEEPING her (she's only 7mo.), and he DID know what a DS is from LE friends. Unfortunately, no background info available on her to follow up. At least she is safe, and I gained a couple new/better skills! -Sharon--Bedlam

Was this the one in Northern Indiana that was on the NADSR facebook page? I saw her picture right after he picked her up. She looks so similar to my Odin.
