- Tell us about yourself: I have a 2 1/2 month old Dutch shepherd that's what the vet said she was, she may be mixed. Her name is Luna she's very active and playful I walk her everyday she seems to really enjoy it. She's in puppy classes now. And plays with my moms king Charles cavalier 5 days a week. My name is Jackie and my husbands name is Jonathan
Teething
My Luna is 12 weeks old and we got her 3 weeks ago, she wants to chew everything she's been getting much better but always thinks our hands are chew toys everything she goes to chew our hands we hand her a toy.. any suggestions on any tricks to help with this???

- Tell us about yourself: Had a GSD, am getting a DS puppy in a few weeks. Compete in agility, obedience, and cross train in tons of stuff. Found out about this site from the DS Rescue yahoo list.

Jackie, you've just gotta keep at it. It's not something that goes away in a couple of weeks, alas

Make sure you provide lots of appropriate things to chew on (we love antlers around here), and continue to give her an appropriate item that she can mouth or chew whenever she wants to go for your hands.
As far as the actual teething, you can freeze wet washcloths to give them, which some of them like. I had one dog that liked them, my current dog didn't when she was a pup.
Frozen carrots can work, too, if they go for them.
