BINGO!!!! You guys guessed it. Yep, the whole family went to a resort in Orlando for a lengthy vacay! Enjoyed the heck out of myself. Swam with wild dolphins in the Atlantic too! That was a trip. Actually thought they were sharks at first so my fat hiney was just a paddling on that board to shore and someone said, DOLPHINS! Well then. Whewww! Thought I was shark meat. Did the SeaWorld thing and mostly just lounged. Brought the two newly college=graduated chefs along but I ended up doing most of the cooking. All in all, was a great trip. Came back to all my critters just as I left them and the caretakers without even a scratch. The beach we went to allowed dogs so one of these times I hope to make the beach trip with them, they would love it!

Thanks for asking bout me. I feel loved (or tolerated which ever the case may be)!!

Wow! That sounds like a great time!!! Isn't that just the way that you end up cooking with two professional chef's in the house.

What beach did you go to that allows dogs?

We drove over to New Smyrna, Florida on Atlantic side (NE of Orlando), drove up right on the beach, picniked. Not congested, peaceful. That is where the dolphins swam with us. I saw three dogs while there and some very large pawprints!

Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year!

Glad to have you back and that you had a great time.
As an adult, I've never gone on a real vacation. Our "vacations" as children were to visit relatives in other states. I may have to add it to my Bucket List.
