New from Texas
Hello Everyone,
My wife and I live north of Houston in Spring, TX. We have a 19-week-old Dutch Shepherd named Medy (Holland Medy V. Le Dobry). She comes from Kennel V. Le Dobry in Netherlands (José Stienstra). My wife flew to the Netherlands, met Jose (Kennel owner and 2012 Dutch Open Wiiner) and her son Jack, and brought Medy home at 8 weeks of age. We are working with Medy on basic obedience, personal protection and tracking. I do not have background training personal protection so we are working with an excellent trainer in our area. Our Medy is wonderful! We could not be happier with this girl. We absolutly fell in love with her from day 1 and we could not be happier. We also have 3 Dalmatians (mother 5 yr old Coco, daughter 3 yr old Isabella and cousin Reggie 6 yrs) and one Maltipoo (Zoey) 2 yrs old. The two Dalmatians girls compete in AKC conformation. We love all our dogs but absolutely are in love with Medy. She is so much fun and you can see her mind working as she learns. She has fit into our pack very well. Coco is alpha bitch (at this point) and Medy gives her respect and love. Medy and Issy are great friends and play all day. Medy has learned to be gentle with our little Zoey even though Medy does love to antagonize her a bit. I have enjoyed the forum for a few weeks but just now got around to typing a little message and hopefully have attachged a few pics.

- Tell us about yourself: I am in New York State. Got my first DS about 14 years ago (more or less as a rescue- lost her in Nov.). After years of GSD's, and a few dogs of other breeds (Rotti/Beauceron/Ger. Shorthaired Pointer/ Yorkie and my current Jack Russell) I now have another DS, 4mo female, no name yet, tho I have a few in mind.
Also have a horse-old quarter horse mare-32.
Can't wait for all the snow to get gone! Spring is coming too slow this year! - Location: Corinth, New York
