Not sure if this is in the correct section or not?
We need to find a home for our dutchie. I know it seems we have not given her a proper chance but we cannot cope with her. She needs to go to someone who knows the breed. Someone who will be able to give her what she needs, time, training and plenty of space and exercise.
She is around 15-18 months, we rescued her from someone who was using her to breed from. She has had two litters. She is a beautiful girl very loving, has basic training, sit, stay/wait,down. Very good on the lead does not pull.
We were told she was housetrained although this does not seem to be the case. We have tried to get her to toilet outside but she goes out and we stand with her we did this on the hour like with a pup but she comes in and within 2 minutes she has done it inside. Usually when we are not around, so we think she may have been told off for this in the past.
She has had some sort of protection training in the past. She is not aggressive but will bark at strangers and at whoever comes towards her if tethered or if held on the leash. Not too keen on fast moving traffic or runners doesn't bark but gets a little anxious.
We need her to go to someone who knows the breed or is more experienced than us with training.
