Facebook page.Students and staff at Oak Hills High School will start the 2013-14 school year with a furry friend on the school safety team, a 7.5 month-old, 60-pound Dutch-Shepherd named Atticus. While several schools across the nation have police dogs visit their campuses, Atticus will be the first dog in SW Ohio dedicated to serve full-time at a school. “The use of a school safety dog will greatly enhance our ability to keep drugs and weapons out of Oak Hills High School,” school superintendent Todd Yohey said. “Reality is that drug use has increased in our community and we are determined to keep drugs out of our schools.”

Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner.
