Facebook page.I have a few minutes before I need to leave for today's trial so I'll brag about yesterday! Roxanne not only qualified but she also won 1 st place with.....get this.....197 1/2 points,! The judge told me that she was one crooked sit from being in the running for high in trial! We competed in Novice A in AKC with 8 dogs in our class.
I also had several people ask about her breed. One asked if she is a Dutch Shepherd,

- Tell us about yourself: Hi.....my name is Angela. I have 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter. All of my dogs (and cats) are rescues. I have a puppy that we just adopted that I think could be at least part Dutch Shepherd. We also have a 2 year old pug/min pin mix and an 11 year old border collie and possible lab mix.

We are a family of rescues, (yeah, me included), in Southern California. My wife and I currently have two dogs, a Golden Retriever/ GSD mix by the name of Morgan, and our DS mix(?), Dinga Roo. We had never even heard of a Dutch Shepherd before until we were stalked by this nice lady in the pet store who asked us if Roo was a DS. Dang if that lady wasn't on to something. I just found this site, so here we are....

Thank you! Today wasn't as good but she was still in a run-off for 1st place.....until she decided to lay down when I was 6 feet from returning from the long sit! Grr! Frustrating!
