Lifespan
I have a 11 yr old DS that is in amazing condition. He has a job to herd horses everyday. Does anyone have insight Into the lifespan of DS'S.

I don't know if there are any statistics in regards to the average life span of a DS. But here is a nice example of a DS "Senior", famous Tommy Luijken at 11 years still going strong :

It better be longer than 11 !! Thalie is 11 and is in top shape too. My local vet is very happy with the condition she is in. She has gone mountain biking and hiking with me her whole life.

Usually somewhere between 12-15, but i kow one who became almost 17. About the same lifespan as mali's and gsd's
