Facebook page.I had registered back in march but forgot to do this so hello! I've been reading and following this forum for awhile now as a lurker and back in march i had finally joined to ask questions about the dog I had recently adopted. (Post here: <a href="http://www.dutchshepherdforum.com/viewt ... =60&t=3562"> Kumatora </a>) We believe she was a shepherdxshar pei mix of some sort, now at one year old and 58 pounds still going she is definitely a shepherd mix now that i can see it in her gait.
I'm a huge fan of the Dutch Shepherd and I'm considering getting this dog or a Shikoku eventually, right now I am a college student double majoring in arts and technology and mechanical engineering, I am working towards making some of my living off of art. Kuma on average gets about 2-3 hours of activity a day be it biking, extreme fetch, training or a good ol romp around at the dog park though sometimes she can take a power nap and its 1 am and shes playing with my small dog. I had gotten her for my anxiety and her activeness really helped.
While working on art I am also thinking of eventually attending seminars on dog training from my mother suggesting and use this to help me gain some experience training different kinds of dogs as well as gain experience consulting, possibly become a certified dog trainer so I can earn a living doing art and training canines.

- Tell us about yourself: I own two dogs, Kumatora the Akita mix (Maybe ACD) and Pyrrha the Supposed Siberian HuskyxDutch Shepherd Cross. I live in Dallas Texas and I am right now going to Richland Community College to get degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Game Design and Simulation. I am also working on getting my certification as a Dog Trainer to do that part time while I am in college.
