I won't click on links, but is one of those things accessorizing with sunglasses and tutus? Or are they two separate things on the list? I doubt you read the list to your girls. Chicken.

This link is safe. Lol. I did read the list to my girls and they were upset that acessorizing and peticures was not on there. I think they would rather have hugs than tutus.

Tell us about yourself: My name is Karen and I have a dutch shepherd, Xander, born 6/14/13. He is my second dutch shepherd. My first was Rawly. Even though Xander is my second I still have a lot to learn. That is why I'm here, to learn, get advice, and meet people who love these guys as much as I do.

That was pretty interesting. I think Xander likes hugs, he comes up and cuddles all over me like he wants hugs. And when I hug him he wags his tail and gives kisses. I'm definitely guilty of some of these things. But as long as he loves his hugs I'm going to keep giving them.

Tell us about yourself: DS and Mal foster newly approved aug'12 by NADSR and ABMCR. high-functioning Autistic in nyc/hamptons in my 60's. Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner. He died july17,2012. i am dying without him. www.youtube.com/tracesobaka www.dogster.com/dogs/637612

my Xander also likes to be hugged - and he will initiate hugs with someone by putting his head around your neck and/or wrapping his front legs around your upper body. the following photos show one such ''hug'' developing when he was a little less than 6 months old. [ he remains so open and affectionate to anyone he has a good feeling about.]
in these photos [which are in the order they were taken], he first got up on an tall, skinny, round end table [ that was a first! ] to watch Kristen's husband walk down the driveway. Xander was quite distressed at the thought that Brian was leaving, and soon took refuge in Kristen's arms. he had been sitting at attention, following Brian's every move, but then, as the first photo shows, he leans over to put his face near to Kristen's. soon he came down off his perch and climbed up to sit and cuddle with Kristen - i guess thinking that she must miss Brian as much as he Xander did.

TD would also very firmly wrap his front legs around my upper body and pull me into him, demanding a hug, but TD did not extend that openness to others.

Sakima and Tracer would both be appalled if ANYONE attempted to hug them. perhaps the exception proves the rule.

I love photos that show a dog and human from the back as they look at something together. Very sweet.

Some dogs like hugs, some don't. The ones who do, sometimes they don't. And sometimes a dog just needs to build trust in someone to accept hugs. (If it weren't for my animals, I'd never hug. :D )

im a big hugger, id hug my girbils if i could. Thalie wont let you know she likes hugs. Sadie feel threatened when I do hug her. I work on that so when we are at the vets and they go to work on her, she is less agitated.
