Hello, my name is Bruce
Our dream dog has finally made his way to Bangor ME, from Cher Car Kennels in Michigan. He's very smart, quite mouthy, and insanely cute. His one ear which we call his "Nemo Fin" has finally popped up, which we have been told will droop back down. But here's a pic on his first day home with us, Nemo Fin and all.

Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner. i got a pup from CherCar from the may 4, 2013 litter. at that very, very young age, he arrived with both ears very erect and they stayed that was, so maybe the other will just pop up too to join his counterpart. mine was and is sooooooo mouthy but he quickly learned to be gentle in his mouthiness when exercising that tendency on me. he is probably the most careful DS in that respect that i have ever had.

Even though Xander is my second I still have a lot to learn. That is why I'm here, to learn, get advice, and meet people who love these guys as much as I do.

Welcome, he is adorable. I love puppy pics. My Xander's ears were up down up down.... And actually did not stay up until 9+ months, so don't worry about it too much. The mouthiness is normal, I was worried at first but with patience and training he will learn to be gentle.
