- Tell us about yourself: My name is Karen and I have a dutch shepherd, Xander, born 6/14/13. He is my second dutch shepherd. My first was Rawly. Even though Xander is my second I still have a lot to learn. That is why I'm here, to learn, get advice, and meet people who love these guys as much as I do.

Cuddling
Xander loves to cuddle. He has been doing it more and more. I love his cuddles.

This is the kind of thing that would make some types of trainers go nuts regardless the level of OB, respect, and strength of relationship with their human.
When Thor reached a point where he was allowed on the couch/bed only with an invitation and if I was on it, he became my blanket (literally--I'm short), head tucked under my hair at the neck, maybe with a little nibble-groom on my jaw first. As long as his weight is evenly distributed, it puts a pressure on my wicked back that feels heavenly. We fall asleep like peas in a pod.
