Tell us about yourself: One GSD trained in PPD. Looking at getting a dutchies when current dog retires.

hi there

Post by dawg »

Hi, looking at learning the different lines so I can purchase the right dutchie in a few years. Currently have a GSD but considering switching breeds to a smaller framed dog.

Mostly here to lurk in any breeding type forums that discuss progeny.

Tell us about yourself: Over the past 25 years I shared my life with a Rott, two Akitas, and a Shepherd/Husky mix. I now have my first Dutch Shepherd. Lexi was born in early September 2014. She is great in so many different ways but I could use advice from some been there done that DS owners.

Welcome research is good. Lurking can be good as long as it isn't outside my bedroom window . ;)

I lurked on cher car website for five years before making the plunge. I wish I had discovered this website before so I would have been better prepared for life with a dutch shepherd puppy!

Yes, unfortunately I still have those act first impulses that sneak up on me now and then ... at least they are fewer and far between

By the time I am too old to do anything I will know exactly what I should do....if I could do it.
