Facebook page.Hello everybody new to The Forum and new to the Dutch Shepherd. Trained one for a gentleman a few years back. Was very impressed with the breed. I trained a couple of service dogs and donated them. Worked rescue for Great Danes until my husband had a stroke in '07. He passed away 2011 and I am finally ready to "get back into the swing of things". I have been approved as a foster for the NADSR, so I am biding my time till one comes along. Hope to learn more about the breed on here while I am waiting.

- Tell us about yourself: My name is Linda. I am ranch raised around livestock and stock dogs. Recently retired after40 years of dog grooming. Hubby passed away 4 years ago after 36 years together. Now trying to get my life back together I worked great Dane Rescue for about 8 years and rehabing problem dogs.Had to get out when hubby had his stroke. After much research I decided my next family member would be a Dutchie.
And as I have worked and enjoyed rescue and rehabilitation I applied to the NADSR
And was approved as a foster so am (im) patiently awaiting my first foster.
