First time DS owner in Upstate NY
Just wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for their input into this forum. Before joining this was my main source of information about the breed. I purchased a male Dutch Shepherd puppy and named him Dexter. He's been with me for 3 weeks so far and he's been great. Really glad I went with this breed and I'm glad to have a great resource like this forum for information and discussion.

Here he is. 11 weeks and 23 pounds. Right now we are working on some basic obedience with a trainer. Still figuring out plans beyond that, but I'm looking forward to keeping him active.

- Tell us about yourself: I have a 12 week old dutch shepherd that my trainer got for me to train in schutzhund. This is my 1st dutch shepherd, I have always had german shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs.
