- Tell us about yourself: I am Birdie and purchased my handsome man at a super young age for cheap because the breeder didn't want anyone to see him since he originally didn't look like a dutchie. I feel in love from the get-go. Luigi the Dutchie may be different with his dobby (Harry Potter reference) ears but I love his differences.
Possible new member of my pack
I currently have Luigi (male) and we fight for dominance on occasion. I am thinking of getting another dutchie (female) because she was found in the country dropped off to fend for herself. I think she's had extreme training because she is very alert and kind full of commands but I am unsure of how two dutchies are together. I could use some advice from someone with this type of experience with two dutchies.

Re: Possible new member of my pack
It really depends, there are some that just dont get along and some that do. I have two females Thalie 14 Sadie 6. They get along great. Thalie is the leader and even though Sadie tries, Thalie keeps her in line. Sadie was a rescue with a harsh beginning so Thalie became her mom. Many times though Sadie pushes Thalie, but its good that Thaile is very mellow or there would be many more fights. Thalie ignores Sadie and when sadie challenges Thalie, I will intervene.
Its a tough call

Thank you so much for the input. I took Luigi to meet her and while they got along somewhat, I could tell she was getting on his nerves. She kept trying to herd him by nipping at his legs and a couple times I had to intervene. She just got spayed so I am going to see how she acts now since I was told that females act the way she did when they are trying to attract a male. We shall see.
