Advantage: Facebook

Post by centrop67 »

I recently joined the Owners of Dutch Shepherds group on Facebook, and though I see some disparaging posts from time to time, one of the best parts is the constant influx of DS photos.

Yes, it's not as easy to post photos here, but it's not impossible either. I recently posted updated instructions that have yet to be followed. Once you do it couple of times it gets easier and easier.

FIRST: After uploading your file do NOT click the Place Inline button. All that does is show the attachment size picture.

What you need to do is right click the file link and select copy link address. Then you paste the link between IMG tags. Now, you'll have the full size photo in your post. :wtg:

Let's make a big push to see some recent photos of your dogs. I'll start with this one:

Well, here's my try, the sun came out for an hour the other day and demon was really loving it.
seems the attachment pictures are just as big as those in the IMG links :) seems a bit unnecessary maybe

Look. Demon's winking at us!

Wouldn't you know I tried a different setting, and the attachments appear full size!

Tell us about yourself: My name is Karen and I have a dutch shepherd, Xander, born 6/14/13. He is my second dutch shepherd. My first was Rawly. Even though Xander is my second I still have a lot to learn. That is why I'm here, to learn, get advice, and meet people who love these guys as much as I do.

Yes it may appear that he is sound asleep but let someone stand up, or say go, or say ball... and he is gone without his feet touching the floor.
