September 2019 Theme - From the Driver's Seat

I can't remember how I came up with this theme, but it should be fun.

Tell us about yourself: Hey everyone, first time DS owner here. We also have a 14 month old Australian Shepherd/border collie mix who’s parents were very serious working cattle dogs. Because of some unforeseen circumstances we needed a protection dog. I have an uncle who was a handler for the Border Patrol and he checked out the breeder for us beforehand and said it would be very hard for us to find a dog with a better pedigree. So LTJG Goose came home with us at 8 weeks old two days ago and we’re looking forward to the challenge ahead of us.

Hey guys we’re new here but I saw the topic of the photo contest and since we just brought our new DS home, here’s a picture of Goose from the drivers seat on our way home him. This picture was taken after we stopped at the butcher and my fiancé set him in the drivers seat while I was inside and she stayed in the truck with him and he decided to “relieve” himself on my seat.... so I drove the rest of the way home sitting in puppy piss lol. Look how proud both of them look lol!Image

Tell us about yourself: We live in California and currently have two dogs. Mallory is 9 and a rescue she is german shepherd/rottie. We also have a 10 month old german/Dutch that we got at the age of 4 weeks. He was abandoned and very sick. After 15 weeks of antibiotics and 2000 in vet bills he is our baby. He has passed the CGC certification and the Advanced CGC. He is currently doing protection training right next to our city’s finest canines. We never heard of the Dutch breed until our little Tucker came into our lives and we are so happy he has.
