I love seeing them side by side and seeing how comfortable they are with each other!! I love it when my dogs are very close and like to hang out together! It weird that their ears are the same length!

they are fantastic together! They play and chew on each other all day. I was surprised when I measured their ears that they were the same length too! I cant get a good width measurement on sadie though. Do ears keep growing too?

Tell us about yourself: I have had a DS for almost a year. Gwen and I are considering participating in PSA and or possible Ring Sport. I also have a Great Dane. I have grown up around working GSDs and my last GSD was a working K9 officer. I am all about dogs and animals in general and want to learn as much as I can about training.

I love the pictures!!! how BIG are Sadie's ears? I wonder if they eclipse Gwen's ears? I can't compare them to Izar's since they (his ears) just flop over. Gwen is nice to him though, she never goes for his ears, just his jowls....

Tell us about yourself: I'm a 22 year old part time student who recently got a dutch shepherd puppy who I would like to either do schutzhund with or possibly mondio ring with. He is about 5 months old and been so far trained purely using marker training without any corrections thus far. I am looking for some help with him as he is dog reactive when on leash, inside or in the car while driving.

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.

To get link to work you click on the IMG button up there ^ which you you should see when you are posting a reply so it would look something like [img]http://%20blah%20blah%20blah....[/img] check what you are inserting there because sometimes it repeats the http stuff and would make the image link not work... you can thank marjolein for the lesson...she taught me last month.

Thanks, hes definitely turning out to be a tank. In more ways than one :twisted: :lol: :lol: He just keeps growing and growing, so its been a hard guess as to just how big hes going to get. Trying to get a good picture of him now is getting harder and harder as hes almost constantly in motion. But I got a new camera and am giving it a try. His ears don't look that big do they?

he is defiantly growing, i can see that his legs are getting longer, His ears look good, see if you can get a front shot.

Tell us about yourself: Lifelong animal person- I professionally trained horses before my children were born. New to DS's, but not new to high drive working dogs. :) Currently have a 1 1/2 yr old DS, Koenig, and a 2 yr old English Pointer Sara. They are both rescues. Oh yes, I work at a multi species non-profit animal rescue, on Bainbridge Island, WA

I mean, seriously- he can substitute for a satellite dish! A friend and I joke that his ears are like wings- they are why he can jump/soar/float the way he does. :) ROFL.

Those ears are magnificent! That helps explain that picture you posted of him jumping :D

Here is Sugar lying down...I guess this is how she would look if her ears weren't defective...

I will try to get a front shot, generally its a friend taking the pictures while I am working on focus and positions. :D :D :D , though of course they think that I am crazy but I like taking pictures as he grows from a tiny pup into a young dog and soon to be adolescent. Just watching them grow and learn is such a wonderful thing even when they're not listening.
